Abstract | ITA: Il convegno “Ville venete. Patrimoni culturali, territori, comunità” (Villa Estense (PD), 19settembre 2015) è l'esito di un percorso partecipato che ha coinvolto autorità pubbliche e popolazione di una piccola realtà, Villa Estense, in provincia di Padova (Italia). La preoccupazione ENG: The conference "The Villas of Veneto. Cultural Heritage, Territory and Community" (Villa Estense (Padua, Italy), 19th September, 2015) is the outcome of a participatory process involving the public authorities and the community of a small town in the Padua province, Villa Estense. The concern for the state of deterioration and abandonment of a magnificent local “villa veneta” (Villa Grompo Pigafetta), that preserves relevant memories of the local life, was an opportunity to bring together experts from different fields who shared their know–how and proposed ideas to implement synergies and projects towards the preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and landscapes. These are the basis of civic life and that is why it is important to take care of them. All topics have been transformed into actions aimed to increase awareness of the local environment through educational activities in order to promote historic and artistic heritage and sustainable mobility. Inspired by the principles of the Constitution of the Italian Republic regarding cultural heritage and focussed on "networking", such an event received the support of several neighbouring authorities and national institutions. These are elements that confirm the event as a good practice in the processes to achieve a conscientious society in an authentic sustainable perspective. |
